Shandong Xiangchi Grain and Oil Company, a large state-owned soybean processing enterprise, is located in an old beautiful city. It was founded in 1989, formally named Boxing County Plant Oil Factory of Shandong Province. Under China’s reform and opening up to outside world policies, the company unswervingly sticks to the philosophy of “developing the enterprise with appropriate scale of operation and high technologies, and vitalizing the national oil enterprise”, and unceasingly pursues hi-tech industrialization, collectivization and foreign orientation. From only one 50T/D production line, it now develops to have three soybean oil production lines with a processing capability of 3,000 tons of soybean, which is No.1 in Shandong province.

Future Prospect Program

In the Tenth Five-Year Plan Period, the company will focus on the soybean deep processing. It will construct a variety of projects that have broad market prospect, hi-tech content and high added value projects for deeply processing, such as Soybean Isolated Protein, Oligosaccharides, Dietary Fiber. It will make an investment of RMB580 million to build Xiangchi Industry Realm, with an area 40020 square meters, including No.1 Xiangchi Company, No.3 Xiangchi Company, Soybean Food Co., Ltd, Soybean Food Project Research Center. On the occasion, the annual output value of the company will reach 560 million and profits and taxes is 26 million. It will be one of the leading industrial enterprises nationwide. At the same time, the company will deepen its system reform, develop the modes of cooperation with domestic and foreign enterprises, and actively create conditions for going public.
